YT Technologies is proud to be a partner for Domin. They are looking for a highly skilled CNC Machinist to support delivery of Prototype hardware components from Design to Product Validation teams. Reporting to the Prototype Manufacturing Manager and working with their CAM Programmer, you will be pivotal in further developing their world class hydraulic systems and their applications, through machining 1-off and low-volume components to the tightest of tolerance.
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience of setting and operating multi axis milling machines and CNC lathes
- Knowledge and understanding of Fanuc / ISO G code programming
- Competency of using hand measurement tools (e.g. micrometres, vernier callipers, etc.)
- Strong understanding of 2D drawings and GD&T principles
- In depth knowledge of metal cutting tools and techniques
- Proficient in machining and inspecting components to <10µ tolerance
Beneficial Requirements:
- Full online ISO/G-Code programming ability
- Experience with Sub-spindle lathes and live tooling
- Experience of machining Castings and/or AM components
- Wire EDM programming and operation experience
- Experience in setting and operating cylindrical grinders
