We are recruiting for an organised and proactive Storeperson & Shipping Administrator to support a high-value manufacturing environment. This role focuses on goods in/out, stock accuracy, packing, and arranging courier shipments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, check and book in materials via ERP/MRP systems
  • Store, pick and issue components and production kits
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and support cycle counting
  • Pack instruments/spares for UK & international shipping
  • Book courier collections (DHL/UPS/FedEx/TNT)
  • Operate counterbalance forklift
  • Keep Stores, Goods In and Despatch areas tidy and safe

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing stores/stock control role
  • Strong ERP/MRP knowledge
  • Counterbalance forklift licence
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good education (GCSE English & Maths)
  • Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Good colour perception (test required)

Desirable

  • Experience with Lean tools (5S, Kanban, Kaizen)
  • SAP Business One experience
  • Courier booking system experience
