YT Technologies are proud to be working with a healthcare technology company that's looking for a Firmware Engineer to help develop embedded software and Python tools used to control advanced laboratory hardware. This is a great fit for someone with experience in Embedded C/C++, Python, hardware integration, and debugging across firmware and software.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the in-house lab tool: a Python application that controls hardware, sequences experiments, and logs data for analysis.
- Work across the stack: from firmware interfaces and hardware communication through to the GUI and data layer.
- Write and run firmware-level tests; debug hardware behaviour from the software side and contribute to firmware where needed.
