Our client is a product company that designs, develops, manufactures, and sells advanced hydraulic systems for some of the most demanding applications in the world. Through ground-breaking technologies, including high-speed control valves and ultra-compact pumps, they create next-generation solutions that transform hydraulics and redefine what is possible in motion control. Their products are used across industrial manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and other global markets where performance, efficiency, and reliability are critical.

Role Overview

We are looking for an electronics or electrical engineer who enjoys understanding how real systems work and help customers apply advanced technology successfully. As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will work directly with customer engineering teams to understand their control architectures, electrical systems, and integration constraints. Your role is to help customers determine how the technology can be successfully integrated into their systems and to shape technically credible solutions that unlock real performance improvements. You will lead discussions around electronics, control, and system integration, helping customers understand how products interface with their electrical and control environments. Working closely with the Sales team, you will support major opportunities with strategically important customers and play a key role in helping our client win new programmes. Internally, you will collaborate with our engineering teams to ensure that commitments made during the sales process translate into clear and achievable engineering work. The role sits within the Electronics team, allowing you to remain connected to cutting-edge product development while applying your expertise to real-world applications. You will also bring valuable customer insight back into the technology organisation, helping the company better understand how our products are used in the field. This role suits engineers who enjoy solving complex system problems, communicating technical ideas clearly, and working directly with customers to turn engineering capability into successful real-world solutions.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Approximately 3–7 years of experience in an electronics or electrical engineering role.
  • Strong electronics or electrical engineering fundamentals and ability to reason from first principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve real engineering problems and translate requirements into practical solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to both engineers and non-engineers.
