We are recruiting on behalf of a dynamic, technology-focused company specialising in design-led manufacturing solutions across a range of high-tech industries including MedTech, life science, aerospace, consumer electronics, rail, and industrial instrumentation.
Joining a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team of 23 engineers, you will take direct, early ownership of diverse projects, working closely with clients to scale up innovative product ideas.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Lifecycle Circuit & System Design: Design, develop, and test digital and analogue electronic circuits and embedded systems.
- Testing & Compliance: Perform simulations, system validation, component-level troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers to translate client specifications into deliverable products.
- Design Documentation & Component Selection: Select optimal components/materials and create detailed design specifications, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
- Mentorship: Provide technical support, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers across project lifecycle stages.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years in electronics design with a strong, proven track record of successful embedded product development.
- EDA Software Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with Altium Designer, Eagle, or similar CAD tools.
- Circuit Design Expertise: Strong knowledge of both digital and analogue circuit design.
- Firmware/Embedded Systems: Solid foundation in embedded systems and microcontroller programming (familiarity with C, C++, or Python).
