Our client is seeking an experienced, high-calibre Agile Scrum Master for a long-term 12 to 18-month assignment. Joining a mature, cross-functional product environment (comprising Developers, Product Owners, UX Designers, and Agile Coaches), you will help guide and empower software engineering teams to deliver high-impact value.
The Role & Culture
Our client operates with a progressive, highly autonomous flat structure—there are no line managers or rigid corporate bureaucracies. Scrum Masters in this organisation act as true servant-leaders and agile coaches rather than traditional taskmasters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servant-Leadership: Guide, coach, and support cross-functional engineering teams in embedding agile values, principles, and scrum practices.
- Outcome & Value Focus: Shift team focus towards delivering tangible customer outcomes and long-term value rather than simple output.
- Impediment Removal & Facilitation: Facilitate core scrum ceremonies (timeboxing effectively) and proactively resolve blockers to keep delivery momentum smooth.
- Backlog & Product Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Owners on backlog refinement, effective planning techniques, and establishing shared goals across squads.
- Trust & Transparency: Build psychological safety within teams so conflicts are handled constructively and continuous improvement is championed.
- Cross-Team Synergy: Collaborate with fellow Scrum Masters to align best practices across multiple delivery squads.
