We’re seeking a skilled and safety-conscious HGV Driver with a valid HIAB licence to join our operations team based in Portsmouth. This is a vital role supporting our transport and logistics needs across the region, ensuring timely delivery and collection of essential equipment and materials.
What you’ll be doing:
- Operating Xylem vehicles (Class 2 HGV) in a safe and professional manner
- Carrying out deliveries and collections of pumping equipment and related machinery across customer sites
- Using HIAB/crane equipment to safely load and unload goods
- Ensuring vehicle checks, maintenance, and documentation are completed to required standards
- Supporting the depot team with logistics and stock movement when required
- Representing Xylem to our customers with a positive and professional attitude
What we’re looking for:
- Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- Valid HIAB licence/certification (preferably with experience)
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within plant hire, utilities, or construction sectors
- Good knowledge of load securing, manual handling, and road safety regulations
- A flexible and reliable team player with a strong work ethic and customer focus
