Job Title: Graduate Sales Engineer

Xylem is a leading global water technology company that provides innovative solutions for the world\’s most challenging water issues. We are looking for a talented and passionate Graduate Sales Engineer to join our team in the UK through our Graduate Development Programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-potential individual to gain a deep understanding of Xylem\’s business and products, and to develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a successful future leader within the company.

As a Graduate Sales Engineer, you will be part of a rotational programme across Xylem UK, designed to fast-track you through key functions of the business on a rotational basis. You will gain exposure to Sales, Product Management, Technical and Operational parts of the business, working directly alongside inspirational and innovative colleagues whilst also working directly with our customers and partners.

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

• Gain a deep understanding of the core business areas during each rotation and actively get involved in projects, problem solving and customer activities
• Work with the sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities
• Develop technical knowledge of Xylem products and solutions
• Collaborate with other team members locally and globally and at remote sites
• Build strong relationships with customers and partners
• Participate in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree level qualification in a relevant subject
• Previous industry experience by way of a placement would be an advantage
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently
• Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders, communicate and influence at all levels
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed
