We seek to appoint Exams Invigilators to work closely with the exams office staff to ensure that all rules and regulations relating to the conduct of examinations are strictly applied. The role involves maintaining a calm and orderly environment to allow students the best possible opportunity to succeed in their exams. Hours will be variable, with the main exam periods taking place in November/December and April, May and June.

- Ensure all examinations are conducted in line with regulations and procedures
- Maintain a calm, safe and supportive exam environment for students
- Contribute to the safeguarding and welfare of students
Job Responsibilities (Key Duties)
- Arrive punctually for scheduled exam sessions
- Assist with setting up examination rooms, including exam papers, stationery and equipment
- Ensure students understand and comply with strict exam conditions
- Check attendance and report any absences or issues to the Exams Officer
- Actively supervise students during examinations in a quiet and unobtrusive manner
- Respond to student queries in accordance with exam regulations
- Manage late arrivals and authorised student movement with minimal disruption
- Assist with the collection and secure handling of exam scripts
- Support the orderly dismissal of students at the end of exams
- Ensure examination rooms are left tidy and ready for subsequent sessions
