Rydym yn awyddus i benodi unigolyn sydd â gwybodaeth gadarn o fioleg, ynghyd â’r angerdd, yr egni a’r weledigaeth i arwain datblygiad y pwnc o fewn Maes Dysgu a Phrofiad Gwyddoniaeth a Thechnoleg. Bydd y rôl hon yn allweddol wrth sicrhau darpariaeth o’r safon uchaf, sy’n ysbrydoli dysgwyr ac yn gwireddu Pedwar Diben Cwricwlwm i Gymru.
Disgwylir i’r ymgeisydd llwyddiannus:

- Wreiddio dysgu ac addysgu o ansawdd uchel sy’n datblygu chwilfrydedd gwyddonol a meddwl beirniadol

- Cyfrannu’n weithredol at weledigaeth wyddonol yr ysgol gyfan
Mae’r ddarpariaeth wyddonol yn gryf ac yn datblygu’n gyson, gyda chanlyniadau cadarn ar lefel TGAU a Safon Uwch, a niferoedd iach o ddisgyblion yn parhau â’u hastudiaethau. Mae’r adran yn elwa o dîm o athrawon hynod brofiadol ac uchelgeisiol, sydd â gweledigaeth gadarn a blaengar ar gyfer dyfodol y ddarpariaeth. - Cryfhau darpariaeth ar gyfer dysgwyr o bob gallu, gan gynnwys y rhai mwyaf abl a’r rhai sydd angen cefnogaeth ychwanegol
- Datblygu cyfleoedd allgyrsiol a phartneriaethau (e.e. STEM, prifysgolion, diwydiant)
- Cyfrannu at flaenoriaethau strategol yr ysgol, gan gynnwys codi dyheadau a safonau
