Number of Pupils: 327 (Ages 3-11)

Hours: 32.5 hours

Contract: Temporary (Until August 2027)

Start Date: 1st September 2026

The Headteacher and the Governing Body are keen to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant, who is ready to be a member of an energetic and active team, to support pupils within our mainstream classrooms. We wish to appoint an outstanding, enthusiastic and motivated assistant to join the school by 01/09/26.

The successful candidate will share the values, vision and ethos of Ysgol Gymraeg Pwll Coch. We are an inclusive, happy, inspiring and enthusiastic family that inspires, challenges and supports every member.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC). The above position is subject to Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

Permission must be obtained from the relevant Chief Officer or another nominated senior officer at a level not lower than OM2, or from the Headteacher/Governing Body in the case of school staff.
