Gwahoddir ceisiadau gan unigolion egnïol â chymwysterau da i ymuno â'n tîm staff profiadol a sefydlog; tîm sy'n ymroddedig, uchelgeisiol a llwyddiannus. Disgwylir i'r ymgeisydd fod yn angerddol dros addysg gyfrwng Cymraeg ac yn barod i gyfrannu at ethos a gweledigaeth ysgol flaengar ac uchelgeisiol. Gofynnwn i chi amlinellu'r pynciau y gallech eu dysgu yn y cais.

Ysgol hapus a llwyddiannus a sefydlwyd ym 1995 yw hon sy’n darparu addysg gyfrwng Cymraeg i ieuenctid ardal Merthyr Tudful a Chwm Cynon. Fe'i lleolir ar gyrion tref Aberdâr ar gampws gwych sydd wedi datblygu’n ddiweddar i gynnwys neuadd chwaraeon, cae 3G, bloc ystafelloedd addysgu newydd a darlithfa. Mae dros 1050 o ddisgyblion yn yr ysgol erbyn hyn sy’n cynnwys 6ed Dosbarth.

Yn Arolwg Estyn diweddar yr ysgol (Mawrth 2025), nodwyd “Mae disgyblion Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Rhydywaun yn elwa’n fawr o brofiadau dysgu ysgogol mewn amgylchedd ofalgar lle mae perthnasoedd gwaith cynhaliol rhwng staff a disgyblion yn sail i ddysgu effeithiol. Mae arweinyddiaeth o ansawdd uchel yn graidd i lwyddiant yr ysgol. Mae’r pennaeth a’r uwch dîm arwain yn cynnig cyfeiriad clir a chefnogol, ac mae ganddynt weledigaeth bwrpasol sydd wedi’i gwreiddio’n gadarn yn lles a dyheadau disgyblion. Mae diwylliant o arweinyddiaeth ystyriol yn cyfrannu at awyrgylch hapus lle mae staff a disgyblion yn cydweithio’n effeithiol i gyflawni’r safonau gorau posibl. O ganlyniad, mae disgyblion yn ymddwyn yn dda ac yn dangos balchder amlwg yn eu hysgol, gan ymateb yn gadarnhaol i’r disgwyliadau clir o dan faner ‘Ffordd Rhydywaun’.”
