Our client, a successful, highly regarded family-run civil engineering and utility contractor seeks to hire a Customer Support Administrator / Planning Co-ordinator to play a key part in coordinating repair schedules, supporting operational teams, and delivering excellent outcomes for customers.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a small, friendly Planning team, responsible for booking and scheduling all customer appointments to investigate and repair water leaks on customer supply pipes. You’ll be based at a beautiful rural site near Oxford, working closely with customers, field operatives, and supervisors to keep everything running smoothly.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Handling inbound and outbound customer calls
  • Scheduling and coordinating investigation and repair appointments
  • Raising and updating jobs on the database
  • Managing emails and written correspondence
  • Supporting the wider planning team with day-to-day coordination
  • Gatekeeping and ensuring smooth workflow

About You

  • You’re someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused role and takes pride in doing things well.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills
  • Planning/scheduling experience (ideally within water/utilities, but not essential)
  • An organised, calm, and solution-oriented approach
