Part-time Financial Controller role - Warrington & Surrounding areas. The role is to work with our clients in their business, this could be within a variety of industries including professional services, manufacturing, retail/wholesale, construction, technology or media. The basics in the finance function are covered but there is a need for an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller to lead the finance function and help move the business forward, on a part-time basis.
About You
You should be a qualified and experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Ideally, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week. Your expertise should include:
- Management accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Budgets, cashflow and profit forecasting
- Experience and working knowledge of Xero
- Experience of managing and leading a small team
- Experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls
- Year-end processes (but not statutory accounts)
- Experienced Excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs
- Proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
You must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years) with experience managing a finance team. As this role is two days a week (self-employed basis) it could work alongside other client work.
Rate of pay £35 per hour
Location: Warrington & Surrounding areas - Onsite 2 days p/week
