We are seeking an experienced Part‑Time Senior Bookkeeper to support our clients across Surrey and surrounding areas. This part‑time position requires 2–3 days per week.
About The Role
In this role you will manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, streamline financial processes, and support clients in making informed commercial decisions.
About You
You have hands‑on experience, accuracy, and commercial awareness, and are capable of working independently within client environments while managing multiple priorities. Formal qualifications are not required. You must be available for at least two days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer invoicing and sales ledger management
- Credit control and debtor reporting to directors
- Supplier invoice processing and purchase ledger management
- Preparing payment runs for approval
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Bank postings and reconciliations
- Expense and credit card management and reconciliation
- VAT return preparation and submission
- Payroll (potentially) and pension administration
- Month‑end journals, including depreciation, accruals and prepayments
Location Surrey (Guildford/Woking/Camberley/Farnborough)
Rate of Pay £22.50 per hour
