Part-time Financial Controller required in Manchester.
About the role:
We are looking for a detailed-orientated and experienced Financial Controller to join us at The Part-Time Finance People to support our clients in Manchester and surrounding areas. We provide tailored financial support for SMEs with our clients specifically requiring an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller who can lead the finance function and provide clearer visibility around the financials on a part-time basis.
About You:
- You should be an experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs.
- Preferably, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.
- Your expertise should include:
- Preparation of management accounts/reports
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow and profit forecasting
- Experience and working knowledge of Xero (ideally exposure with Sage50, QuickBooks as well)
- Experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls
- Commercially experienced year-end processes (but not statutory accounts)
- Experienced Excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs
- Proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
Rate of pay: £35 per hour
Location: Manchester and surrounding areas (Wigan, Warrington, Liverpool)
Hours: 2-3 days available
