We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Part‑Time Financial Controller to support a manufacturing SME based in Leicester. The role involves leading the finance function, strengthening financial controls, and providing clear visibility over financial performance, working closely with senior management on a part‑time basis (3 days per week).
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly management accounts and reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow and profit forecasting
- Improving and maintaining financial controls
- Commercial analysis and support to senior stakeholders
- Assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls
- Excel expertise (pivots, sumifs, graphs)
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller within an SME environment
- Manufacturing experience required
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and Sage 50
- Confident communicator with non‑financial stakeholders
- Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or QBE (5+ years)
- Minimum 2 years’ UK Financial Controller experience
