For over 18 years, YRH Finance Team has been supporting the UK’s small and medium-sized businesses with flexible, cost-effective access to senior finance professionals. Our fractional model helps business owners get the leadership they need—without the overhead of a full-time hire. We’re expanding in Farnborough and the surrounding Surrey areas, and we’re looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of the region. You’ll have the opportunity to build a strong client portfolio while creating a long-term income stream—with scope to expand into a wider regional role over time.
Location: Hybrid – Home-based & field-based around Farnborough and surrounding areas (e.g. Guildford, Fleet, Camberley)
Employment Type: Full-time, Employed
Target Clients: Owner-managed SMEs (£1.5m–£10m turnover)
OTE: £55k Year 1 | £80k–£100k+ from Year 2 (uncapped)
Package: £55k base salary + recurring monthly & quarterly commissions
Support: Full onboarding, sales enablement, and mentoring

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Identifying SMEs who would benefit from improved financial support
- Engaging business owners and local introducers
- Managing the full consultative sales cycle—from outreach to onboarding
- Articulating the value of our services confidently and clearly
- Collaborating with our internal delivery team to ensure client satisfaction
- Growing a base of recurring revenue as clients stay and expand
What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced in B2B consultative sales, ideally in services or solutions-based sectors
- Comfortable discussing strategic, commercial challenges with business owners
- Self-driven, focused, and motivated by long-term results
- Capable of working independently, but values being part of a team
- Not necessarily from a finance background—but comfortable talking about financial outcomes
Who You’ll Work With:
Our clients are ambitious, owner-led businesses turning over between £1.5m and £10m annually. They typically invest £2,500–£5,000/month in our fractional finance services to unlock better strategic insight, stronger cash flow and profit control, and confidence in financial decision-making for growth.
