About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a Procurement Operations Buyer to join YPO's Support Solutions & Growth Team.
As part of the Community, Infrastructure & Support Solutions function, this role plays a key part in researching, developing, implementing and managing procurement solutions that support both YPO's strategic objectives and customer needs.
Reporting to the Procurement Operations Category Lead, you will work within a team of procurement professionals responsible for delivering innovative and compliant procurement solutions across a diverse portfolio.
As Procurement Operations Buyer, you will combine procurement expertise, project delivery and operational ownership to lead and support a range of procurement projects from research and market engagement through to implementation, launch and ongoing management.
You will develop and manage procurement solutions, ensure compliance and governance requirements are met, and work closely with stakeholders, suppliers and customers to deliver customer-focused outcomes while driving continuous improvement, growth and innovation across the category.
About You
As YPO continues to grow and evolve, we are looking for a proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused individual to join our team. Drawing on the skills and experience outlined in the Job Description, you will demonstrate:
- An in-depth understanding of Public Sector Procurement and Legislation
- The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within YPO and our customers
- The ability to implement effective systems and performance management
- Full member or studying towards being a member of the chartered institute of purchasing and supply (CIPS)
Experience of procurement processes in different areas of the public sector (PCR 2015, PA 2023) is desirable but not essential.
