The Youth Development Worker is responsible for encouraging the growth and development of young people through experience, reflection and learning within a safe environment. This will involve initiating and developing responses to local needs to meet the social and educational needs of young people.

- Location: Brae High School, Brae, Shetland
- Salary: Β£36,532.56 to Β£37,575.12 per annum
Responsibilities
The Youth Development Worker is responsible through the Team Leader β Youth Services, for encouraging the growth and development of young people through experience, reflection and learning within a safe environment. This will involve initiating and developing responses to local needs to meet the social and educational needs of young people.
To be responsible for the planning, development and delivery of youth provision, in response to the local needs of young people. To work directly with young people to promote and develop a young person led curriculum which maximises opportunities for social and personal development.
