As a Communities Officer you will work with colleagues, communities and learners to design, deliver and assess community learning and development activities with young people aged 11-25 years old.
The development of learning opportunities will be responsive to the needs of young people in the Angus area. Delivery will predominantly focus on 1:1 support in schools but may also include community based youth work, transition, holiday programmes and detached as well as support around awards and accreditation.
Angus Council is looking for passionate, dedicated and adaptable staff who hold the degree in Community Education or equivalent. Please refer to the CLD Standards Council for acceptable equivalent qualifications before applying.
You will work 36.25 hours per week which will include some evening and weekend working.
As this job covers the Angus area, a current driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
