Here at Youth4Youth, we have grown a strong, tight-knit community of individuals who are passionate about making a difference and improving the lives of young people across the UK. Our growing team of volunteers all contribute to the ongoing work with a level of time they can commit to across different departments. Our services primarily offer a peer-support network to young people allowing them to access a peer mentor of a similar age and somebody they feel comfortable speaking with.
If successful, you will be joining a growing team of diverse, but likeminded individuals, collaborating to increase the reach of the Charity and improve support provisions available to young people. All of our volunteers and employees are remote workers, but that doesn\’t stop us keeping in touch and maintaining a strong positive culture amongst our whole team.
About the role
As a Copywriter at Youth4Youth (Y4Y), you will craft compelling and persuasive written content that engages our audience and supports our initiatives. Collaborating with the Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, and Content Producers, you will develop copy for various platforms, ensuring consistency with Y4Y’s brand voice.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for websites, social media, newsletters, press releases, and marketing materials.
- Tailor messaging to different audiences, including young people, partners, and the general public.
- Ensure all written content aligns with Y4Y’s brand voice and messaging guidelines.
- Conduct research to inform and enrich content, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Develop compelling stories and narratives that highlight Y4Y’s impact and initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop content ideas.

The hiring process
You will be interviewed by the Marketing & Communications director, and the interview will consist of a 30-minute conversation.
Some roles will have extra stages but we’ll let you know as early as possible if so.
