Pay: £26,465 pa pro rata for a 21‑hour week = £15,879 pa

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop and deliver children’s and young people’s work at the Theatre Royal.
  • Run and oversee the Guild of Players Youth Theatre programme, including workshops and productions.
  • Build relationships with national and local organisations such as colleges, community groups and schools.
  • Deliver education outreach activities and educational partnerships.
  • Work closely with the Board, Theatre Director and dedicated volunteers in a small paid staff team.

Theatre Royal Dumfries is the oldest theatre in Scotland (established 1792), refurbished and expanded in 2015, owned and run since 1960 by the Guild of Players (Charity SC001963).
