The Friendship Club at Brew & You Café takes place at our youth and community centre in Millbrook. It is an opportunity for local people to come and meet other people in a social space. By coming to the café, it helps our charity’s wider mission in providing training opportunities for young people in the café.
The volunteer role is perfect for someone who is friendly, enjoys chatting, and perhaps has a passion for crafts, running a quiz or similar activities which they would be happy to share with people who come to the café. The club meets every Friday at Brew & You Café, Millbrook between 10.30 and 12, bringing together local people to mingle, make friends, and help reduce feelings of loneliness.
Volunteers play a key part in creating a welcoming atmosphere and encouraging positive social connections. If you have a passion for people, we’d love to hear from you!
