We run a number of early years and childcare services across the county including Holiday Clubs, Afterschool Clubs, and Preschools. All profits from our childcare services are donated to our charitable arm to support disadvantaged young people across the county.
About the role
We are recruiting a Playworker, on a casual contract, to help cover sickness and annual leave during term‑time and/or to work at our Holiday Club during the school holidays. As a Playworker your role will be to support children and young people to reach their potential by planning, running and monitoring engaging activities.
About you
We are looking for compassionate, enthusiastic individuals, over the age of 18, who are committed to making a difference to the lives of children and young people. You will need to be reliable, approachable and caring and have previous experience of working with young people.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Early Years, Playwork, Teaching or Youth Work an advantage
Experience
- Experience of working with children and young people
- Experience of delivering a range of activities to children and young people
