We run a number of early years and childcare services across the county including Holiday Clubs, Afterschool Clubs, and Preschools. All profits from our childcare services are donated to our charitable arm to support disadvantaged young people across the county.
About the role
To support the Childcare Team Leader to coordinate After School and Holiday Clubs at Pilgrims Cross and The Scott Centre. You will be part of a staff and volunteer team that will plan and deliver structured and non-structured activities within our Ofsted registered After School and Holiday Clubs for children aged over 4 years, providing opportunities to realise their full potential to learn new skills, develop confidence and a positive self-image.
About you
We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic individual, who is committed to making a difference to the lives of children and young people. Playworker or Early Years qualifications desirable and a minimum of 3 years working with children and young people as well as experience of delivering a range of activities to children. You will need to be reliable, approachable, and caring and have previous experience of working in an Early Years/childcare setting and planning and delivering effective learning opportunities. You will have a sound understanding of the EYFS framework and knowledge of the quality standards required by Ofsted.
