SoundLincs is currently seeking a Music Practitioner to lead the delivery of high-quality music workshops as part of SoundLincs' Children and Young People's Social Prescription Service, working with vulnerable children and young people in both one-to-one and group settings. Through creative, person-centred music-making they will deliver evidence-informed creative health interventions that improve wellbeing, confidence, resilience and social connection.
As a core member of staff, the Music Practitioner will contribute to the planning, delivery, evaluation, and ongoing development of allocated sessions and projects, helping to ensure they are safe, engaging, impactful and sustainable. The postholder will work collaboratively with colleagues, partners, and referring organisations to deliver high-quality creative health interventions that achieve meaningful outcomes for children and young people.
The role is offered on a 36-month fixed term contract, working 22.5hrs per week.
