Budding Bidwriters where are you? This role supports youth-focused charities in London and contributes to international development projects in Uganda, offering a chance to make a real impact on communities locally and globally. What difference will you make? Your expertise will help secure funding to strengthen Youth Link Networks, supporting youth in London and Uganda. Your work will enable programs that provide education, skills training and community engagement, creating opportunities for young people to thrive. By crafting strong bids and identifying grants, you’ll drive sustainable change and empower communities locally and globally.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in bid writing and securing grants for charities.
  • Strong knowledge of UK funding landscape, particularly for youth-focused organisations.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with international development funding, especially for projects in Uganda.

What will you be doing?

  • Bid Templates – Create clear, reusable templates for funding applications.
  • Grant Research – Find and assess opportunities for UK youth and Uganda projects.
  • Proposal Writing – Draft tailored, persuasive funding proposals.
  • Compliance – Ensure bids meet funder and organizational standards.
  • Collaboration – Work with teams to align proposals with goals.
