A spot has opened up at our Yourvets practice for an aspiring Vet to join our team as a Senior Veterinary Surgeon. Should you be at the stage in your career where you are wanting that next step, our Head Vet Marcin will be here to support you!

Established in 2007, we are proud to be a part of the YourVets veterinary group. We are a small animal practice located in Olton, Solihull with disabled access and on‑site parking. Alongside our facilities and specialist equipment, our friendly and experienced veterinary team provide the highest quality of veterinary care, surgery and treatment - along with regular check‑ups and routine procedures. We offer referral services in soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery and endoscopy as well as cardiology and ophthalmology at our Wythall practice. We also run an ambulance service for patients being transferred to our out of hours facility. We are passionate about pet healthcare, focused on delighting our clients and providing the finest veterinary service we can.

This role is a full time position, working a 4‑day week with a 1 in 4 weekend rota. Shift patterns offer variety including Hospital Inpatients, Consulting & Operating. The rota is completely flexible and open to hearing what works for you. Hours range from 32‑40 hours per week. Part of this role will involve working closely with the team on a day‑to‑day basis providing clinical support, guidance and being a sounding board to discuss cases.

By joining Yourvets you will be part of our bigger group of 5 practices consisting of 30 FTE Vets with multiple certificate holders, providing the opportunity for clinical progression and to see your cases through from start to finish. We want to give you the chance to talk to us and offer you the chance to ‘try us before you join us’. We would love you to come and spend an hour or two with us in practice to get a feel of what we're about.
