Our practice in Solihull is recruiting for an OOH vet to complete their current night team. Established in 2007, we are proud to be a part of the YourVets veterinary group. We are a small animal practice located in Olton, Solihull. Our practice is easily accessible with disabled access and on‑site parking.

Alongside our facilities and specialist equipment, our friendly and experienced veterinary team provide the highest quality of veterinary care, surgery and treatment - along with regular check‑ups and routine procedures. We offer referral services in soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery and endoscopy as well as cardiology and ophthalmology at our Wythall practice. We also run an ambulance service for patients being transferred to our out of hours facility.

We are passionate about pet healthcare, focused on delighting our clients and providing the finest veterinary service we can. We take pride in making sure that we are affordable and amenable to all our furry friends, gold standard ISFM in place, affordable prices and optional packages to help our clients.

You would be joining our friendly, supportive and experienced team in a brand new purpose‑built clinic. The surgery is well equipped with a separate feline and canine wards, two theatres, dental suite, large central prep area and separate triage/treatment zone. We are committed to providing you with the best possible working conditions. We also have an onsite CT scanner offering inpatient & outpatient referrals.

You would work a really favourable rota of a 1:6 rota pattern (7 nights on, 35 nights off) alongside one of our fantastic night nurses, giving you a fantastic work‑life balance and the time off to do all those things you've been meaning to. Shifts will be between 7:00pm‑8:00am.

To be successful you will need to possess good communication and organisational skills, be able to deal with a variety of cases out of hours and have the ability to liaise between day and night teams. Previous experience with OOH and ECC is desired.
