Yourstaff Solutions are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 store delivery drivers for our client based in Harlow, Essex. Temp to Perm for full-time drivers after 12 weeks. Bonus paid when full-time: £35 per day if they exceed 150 miles in one direction. Saturday £190.00, Sunday £250.00. FTE after 12 weeks is: £42,521 PLUS ABOVE.
The Work
- Pre-journey vehicle checks.
- Complete vehicle check sheets, reporting all damage or defects prior to leaving site.
- 2 deliveries per day with the use of an electric pump truck if required; this only relates to one particular store.
Requirements
- You must have a minimum of 6 months Class 1 experience.
- No more than 9 penalty points; IN, DD, DR, TT codes are not accepted due to insurance clauses.
- UK Driving licence, UK Driver qualification card and valid UK CPC card.
- A good understanding of driver rules, regulations and WTD.
- Be physically fit and able to pull pallets and cages from the vehicle to the store warehouse.
- You must be professional, courteous, reliable and punctual.
- Your own PPE.
Full-time shift patterns and start times: Monday - Friday. Start windows: 4.00 am Start. Umbrella £20.00 Monday - Friday. Overtime - Saturday £190.00, Overtime - Sunday £250.00. Pre-interview with Client, Start date ASAP.
