Job Description
Sales Development Representative (SDR) – North American Technology Markets
Glasgow City Centre | Evening Student Role
12 or 16 hours per week | Monday–Thursday, 6pm–10pm | £30-35k per annum (pro rata) + performance bonus
You'll represent some of the world's leading technology companies, speaking with senior decision-makers across the United States and Canada and creating opportunities that drive real commercial growth. We're looking for confident, curious communicators who enjoy talking to people, asking great questions and learning how businesses operate. This is a great opportunity for students studying business, marketing, technology, communications or related subjects who want to gain valuable commercial experience alongside their studies.
Why North America?
Many of our campaigns focus specifically on the US and Canadian technology markets, so you'll spend your shifts having professional conversations with businesses across North America. You’ll learn how companies in different markets operate, how senior decision-makers communicate and how to adapt your approach to different industries, businesses and audiences. Experience speaking with US or Canadian businesses is a real advantage, but it's not essential. Knowledge or familiarity with US states, Canadian provinces, major business centres, time zones or North American business culture would also be beneficial. However, don't worry if you don't know all of this already – we provide full training on our campaigns, clients, technology propositions and target markets. We're most interested in your confidence, communication skills, curiosity and willingness to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Speaking with businesses and senior decision-makers across the United States and Canada
- Introducing leading technology solutions and creating interest through professional conversations
- Identifying potential business opportunities for our clients
- Booking high-quality meetings for senior sales teams
- Asking questions and understanding business challenges
- Using telephone, email and LinkedIn as part of targeted B2B campaigns
- Working alongside experienced Campaign Managers and SDRs
- Learning about the technology sector and how successful B2B sales campaigns work
- Contributing ideas and helping your team achieve campaign targets
Could This Be You?

- Are motivated by targets, achievement and earning bonus
- Are resilient, positive and willing to learn
- Enjoy being part of a team
