Role Description: This is a temporary, on‑site role based at Santa Pod Raceway in Wellingborough, as part of the Event Security and Stewarding Team throughout the 2026 season. Responsibilities include managing crowd control, monitoring entry and exit points, ensuring the safety of attendees, and addressing potential incidents promptly. We are looking to build a reliable team of 6x Security Staff and 6x Safety Stewards who can support all events we are tasked with throughout the 2026 season. Shifts are primarily on weekends; however, some events may run from Thur‑Sun. Shifts are approximately 10hrs and staff are allowed to camp and make use of the evening entertainment if working consecutive days and commuting is not possible.
Qualifications:
- Security Staff will require a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Safety Stewards are required to have completed a Crowd Management course
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to interact professionally with event attendees and team members
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high‑pressure situations
- Previous security or event management experience is advantageous
- Flexible schedule to work in a temporary and on‑site capacity, including weekends
