The Vacancy
What is the role
The Fashion Copywriter provides an essential role in the day-to-day running of the website and marketing activities. Working between all three brands, they will execute tasks which provide the basis of an e-commerce website. Working closely with the Trading Co-Ordinators and marketing team in order to drive traffic and sales, and improve user experience through the platform. An interest in fashion marketing and a desire to work within the fashion industry is essential.
What you will do
- Product Admin: Responsible for efficiently loading products to the website and meeting product deadlines. Ensuring that all product information is up to date including price and technical details. Ensuring all products are attributed across the navigation categories and subcategories to optimise sales both for the website and the app. Up to date with products and competitor activity to make sure trends and collections are current and performing to KPIs. Update and maintain the delivery list to ensure any changes to the delivery process are dealt with and priority product is always being worked on. Raise any web glitches and suggest changes to optimise sales and website performance.
- Online Visual Merchandising: Ensuring that all product categories are SEO/user friendly and that all the URLs are correct. Apply mix and match, colours available and complete build the outfit so products can be easily navigated between on the product pages of the site and maximising sales.
- Optimisation: Work closely with the SEO team to optimise content production to maximise SEO trends and topics. Keep content ahead of other key fashion competitors. Optimise product content for the marketplaces ensuring that all specifications are met and loaded to deadline, improve ranking and therefore sales. Producing SEO friendly product and banner copy and ensuring that it meets the brand's tone of voice.
