The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home, providing high-quality, therapeutic care and ensuring the very best outcomes for children and young people. As the Ofsted Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the service, ensuring it operates safely, effectively and in full compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards. You’ll lead, develop and inspire your team while creating a positive, nurturing environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and operational management of the home.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding legislation and quality standards.
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing care team through recruitment, supervision and performance management.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments and placement matching to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, families and external professionals.
- Manage budgets, resources and occupancy levels effectively.
- Promote continuous improvement, preparing for inspections and driving service excellence.
