We are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Product & Packaging Designer to join a successful, well-established family-run business in the home fragrance sector. This is a commercial-focused design role for someone who lives and breathes trend-led product development, loves creating packaging that sells, and is now ready to take on more leadership, mentoring and strategic input.
You will be working across briefs for leading retailers in the UK and around the globe, producing strong, commercially viable product and packaging concepts that stand out on shelf. This is far more than a design-focused role; you will be expected to look ahead, contribute to trend forecasting, and help shape the creative direction of ranges while still staying hands-on with key projects. Salary: up to £43,000 DOE and knowledge in the sector

The Role
You will be responsible for designing product and packaging concepts across a range of home fragrance products, producing artwork for retail, creating 3D visuals and models, and preparing presentations that help win new business. You will be working closely with internal teams to ensure designs are commercially strong, technically accurate and aligned to customer requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Design concepts for new products.
- Create 3D visuals for new and conceptual products.
- Produce artwork for packaging and printed materials.
- Design and create 3D printed material where required.
- Conduct trend research and support new product development.
- Prepare customer presentations and sales visuals.
- Work on cutter guides, packaging layouts and print-ready artwork.
- Ensure artwork is accurate, commercially effective and technically sound.
About You
This role needs someone who can work confidently in different styles, adapt quickly to changing briefs and manage their workload with precision. You will also be involved in trend research and new product development, so an interest in homewares and interior trends would be a real advantage.
- 7+ years’ experience in product and packaging design.
- Strong experience designing and art working packaging for retail customers.
- Excellent 3D modelling and rendering skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and organisation.
- Confident leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach.
- An interest in homewares, interiors and market trends.
Technical skills required:
- Confident using Adobe CC for Mac, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Experience with Dimension, Fusion 360 or similar software.
- Creating cutter guides.
- 3D Rendering.
- MS Office.
