We are pleased to be working with a local organisation to recruit an inspirational and enthusiastic Employer Engagement Officer to join a friendly and dedicated team. This role will be based across Redhill and South Croydon and plays a key part in supporting learners through meaningful work experience opportunities.
The successful candidate will be subject to DBS clearance.
The Role
- Source and coordinate work experience and work-related placements for 16–18 learners, including extended placements for programmes such as T Levels.
- Act as the main point of contact for all work experience and placement enquiries.
- Work closely with Curriculum Teams, Business Development and Managers to understand learner needs and plan the timing and structure of placements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, engaging existing contacts and developing new opportunities.
- Record all employer communications accurately on the CRMS database.
- Track and monitor learners on placement, ensuring targets and key data submissions are met.
- Ensure compliance documentation is in place, including risk assessments, health & safety, insurance checks, and learner self-assessments.
- Manage day-to-day communication with learners and employers and attend workplace meetings when required.
- Support key events such as Progression Week, National Apprenticeship Week and Open Days.
- Prepare reports for senior management, funding bodies and other stakeholders as required.
- Gather and coordinate feedback from learners and employers to monitor and improve placement quality.
- Provide general administrative support related to organising and maintaining work placements.
About You
You will have strong administration and communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with employers or stakeholders. You’ll be organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities.
Requirements include:
- Maths & English GCSE (or Level 2 equivalent).
- Full clean driving licence, own transport and willingness to travel between sites.
- Equality & Diversity Level 2 (or willingness to obtain).
