We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and personable Operations Administrator to join our Caterham based client, to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office. This is a key position where you will be the first point of contact for engineers, customers, and suppliers. You will play a vital role in supporting the wider team with administrative, operational, and coordination duties, helping to maintain efficient office systems and processes. Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 Location: Caterham Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Benefits: 21 days holiday + bank holidays, pension, local parking paid What will your key responsibilities include: * Act as the first point of contact—answering incoming calls, taking messages, and directing enquiries appropriately * Manage incoming tender enquiries: book, process, and distribute tenders to clients * Set up new client files, file tenders, and maintain accurate project and client records * Raise purchase orders and monitor stock levels of office supplies, arranging replenishments as required * Coordinate the maintenance and calibration of office equipment and instruments * Handle business travel arrangements including booking flights, accommodation, and transport for UK and international trips * Organising European work permits * Support the team with regular reporting: submit monthly applications, enter weekly timesheets, and prepare quarterly updates on estimating and live projects * Carry out a range of general administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, data entry, and document formatting Do you have the skills & experience for this role?
