Our client is an independent provider of children’s residential care, committed to delivering high-quality, therapeutic, relationship-based support for children and young people. They are looking to appoint an experienced Registered Manager to lead the day-to-day running of their children’s home, ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding and regulatory compliance. Location: Greenhithe, Kent
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum + performance-related bonus
Key Responsibilities
- Register with Ofsted as the Registered Manager.
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the home.
- Ensure compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Promote a therapeutic, child-centred approach to care.
- Recruit, lead and develop the staff team.
- Maintain effective safeguarding practices.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, local authorities and external agencies.
- Manage budgets and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Essential:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent recognised by Ofsted).
- Minimum of two years management experience within a children’s residential setting.
