With a strong focus on continuous improvement and employee engagement, this company offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a fast-paced, supportive HR function. ⭐ Position: HR/People Advisor 💷 Salary: £35,000 DOE 🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week 📍 Location: Horley (Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days remote) What’s the purpose of this role? The HR Advisor will play a key role in delivering high-quality, proactive HR generalist support across the business. Working closely with managers and employees, this role will focus on ensuring HR processes are efficient, legally compliant, and people-focused. From managing new starter and leaver processes to supporting ER matters and L&D coordination, the HR Advisor will help drive operational excellence within the People team. Key Responsibilities: * Provide expert advice across a wide range of HR topics and policies. * Manage onboarding, changes to employment terms, and exit processes. * Liaise with Payroll on pay-related matters. * Maintain the HRIS (Cezanne) and respond to queries. * Support probation and performance review processes. * Assist managers in identifying training needs and sourcing solutions. * Monitor absence levels and liaise with Occupational Health. * Coach managers through ER issues (grievance, disciplinary, capability, etc.) * Assist with drafting and reviewing policies and procedures. * Support recruitment activities when needed. * Deliver induction support and contribute to employee engagement surveys. * Provide reports, KPIs, and data insights as required. Skills & Experience: * CIPD Level 5 (essential) * Strong generalist HR experience in a fast-paced environment. * High attention to detail and strong organisational skills. * Confident working independently and managing priorities. * Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. * Strong IT skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Experience with a cloud-based HR system (Cezanne desirable) Become part of a collaborative HR team where your voice is heard, your skills are valued, and your growth is supported. 📩 Ready for your next HR challenge?
