Waking Night Support Worker Children’s Residential Home 💷 £16.50 per hour | Full & Part Time We are recruiting a Waking Night Support Worker to provide safe, consistent overnight care for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will
- Provide overnight care, welfare checks and emotional support.
- Follow care plans and safeguarding procedures.
- Promote positive behaviour using trauma-informed approaches.
- Build positive relationships with children and young people.
- Complete records, handovers and incident reports.
- Administer medication when trained and authorised.
- Work as part of the children’s residential care team. About You
- Caring, reliable and resilient.
- Good communication skills and calm under pressure.
- Able to work waking night shifts.
- Passion for supporting children and young people.
- Aged 22 or over.
- Previous children’s residential care experience desirable.
- Level 3 Residential Childcare desirable or willingness to work towards.
