Our client is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day leadership of a Children's Residential Home. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about delivering outstanding care and making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. The successful candidate will help ensure the home provides a safe, nurturing and supportive environment, maintaining high standards of care and compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Ofsted requirements. Deputy Manager Children's Residential Care Location: Greenwich Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 Hours: 40 hours per week Key Responsibilities Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the home. Deputise in the Registered Manager's absence. Lead, motivate and supervise the staff team, promoting a positive and supportive culture. Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people at all times. Ensure high-quality, person-centred care and positive outcomes for young people. Lead shifts, oversee staff rotas and support the development of the team through supervision and mentoring. Maintain accurate records and ensure policies, procedures and safeguarding practices are followed. Build positive relationships with families, social workers and external professionals. Participate in the management on-call rota and work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. What We're Looking For Experience in a Senior Residential Support Worker or management role within a children's residential setting. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent). A passion for improving outcomes for children and young people. Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. Experience managing safeguarding, risk and challenging situations. Ability to inspire and support a high-performing team. Good IT, administration and record-keeping skills. Full UK Driving Licence. xdjnayx Desirable Level 5 Diploma in Leadership
