Working Pattern: 2 to 3 days per week - flexible to discuss hours/days
Hybrid: Minimum 1 day in the office + 1 day WFH
The Opportunity
This is a newly created role, reporting directly to the CFO, offering full ownership of the HR function. You'll play a key role in building and evolving HR processes, supporting a growing team, and embedding a positive, inclusive culture. As the business continues to expand, this role has real scope to develop and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to exit
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and deliver a smooth onboarding experience
- Act as the go-to for employee relations, supporting a positive and collaborative culture
- Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant and up to date
- Drive performance management processes, including appraisals and development plans
- Monitor key metrics such as attendance, absence, and employee engagement
- Identify training needs and implement development initiatives
- Coordinate staff events, benefits, and internal engagement activities
- Maintain employee structures and conduct exit interviews
About You
- Degree qualified in HR or a related field
- 4+ years' experience in an HR Manager or similar standalone role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Confident managing a full HR function independently
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable using HR systems and Microsoft Office
