Our client is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) looking for an AI Automation Engineer to join their team in Camden.

Salary: £26,000 – £35,000 DOE Location: Camden / Hybrid Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week, shift pattern between 8.00am – 6.00pm

An exciting opportunity to build the future of AI & automation within an MSP
You'll work alongside an experienced technical team, developing their internal AI automation platform, creating integrations and automations, analysing data and helping identify new opportunities to use AI both within the business and for their clients.
You don't need to know everything already.
If you have a strong technical foundation, a genuine curiosity about AI and automation and enjoy figuring out how things work, they are keen to hear from you.
- What you'll be doing
- Developing and enhancing PIA, our client's internal AI automation tool, helping improve service desk efficiency.
- Building and maintaining automation across RMM and PSA platforms including N-able, Connect Wise and Halo.
- Investigating and developing APIs and integrations between internal and client-facing systems.
- Working with data from multiple platforms to clean, reconcile and analyse information.
- Creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports covering service delivery, client health and financial performance.
- Identifying opportunities where AI and automation can save time, improve processes or enhance the client experience.
- Using tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Microsoft Foundry to develop practical, business-focused solutions.
- Supporting AI projects from the initial idea and requirements gathering through to development, testing and implementation.
- Creating clear documentation so that solutions can be understood, maintained and developed further.
- Measuring the operational and commercial impact of the automations you deliver.
What we're looking for
We're open to candidates at different stages of their career.
You could be a recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, AI, Data, Business Systems or a related subject, or an IT/Software/Automation Engineer looking to develop their career further.
You'll ideally have
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Power Apps.
- Some experience with Python and/or Power Shell.
- An interest in data analysis and working with different data sources.
- Some experience with Power BI.
- A genuine interest in AI, automation and emerging technology.
- The ability to understand and work with APIs and integrations, or a willingness to learn.
- Good attention to detail and a structured approach to documentation.
- The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
- A proactive approach and the confidence to ask questions, investigate problems and find solutions.
