Temporary Transition Co-ordinator

Location: Redhill (occasional travel to South Croydon)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm, Term-Time Only

Salary: £15.00 – £20.00 per hour DOE

Immediate start | Initially up to 2 months

About the Role: Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about helping young people succeed? We're looking for a Temporary Transition Co-ordinator to support students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) as they move into further education. This role is key in ensuring smooth, successful transitions and involves working closely with internal teams, schools, parents, and local authorities.

Please note: The successful candidate will ideally hold a DBS on the Update Service. If not, they will be subject to a DBS check prior to starting.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate EHCP consultations and reviews, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage EHCP-related queries from schools and local authorities.
  • Build strong relationships with schools, SENCOs, parents/carers, and stakeholders.
  • Support students through meetings, visits, applications, interviews, and enrolment.
  • Develop and implement individual transition plans where needed.
  • Attend annual reviews and chair meetings where required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure ongoing support and progression for students.
