An established and expanding law firm is seeking a qualified Solicitor to join its busy Private Client department. The firm offers a friendly, professional, and supportive working environment and is looking for a like-minded individual keen to develop their experience across a broad range of Private Client matters. Newly Qualified Solicitors will be considered, provided they have a minimum of 2 years’ dedicated Private Client experience.

The Private Client Solicitor will provide high-quality legal advice and services across a broad range of Private Client matters, including Estate Planning, Wills, Probate, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney. The role involves working closely with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure seamless transactions while maintaining excellent client service and high professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advising clients on the preparation and updating of Wills.
  • Preparing and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) and Deputyship applications.
  • Administering Estates, including acting as executor or on behalf of executors, and liaising with HMRC, probate registries, and beneficiaries.
  • Setting up and advising on the administration of Trusts.
  • Maintaining accurate case files, managing deadlines, and ensuring compliance.
