We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C E) and HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers for a well-established and reputable client based in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity offering stable, ongoing work, competitive pay rates, and flexible shift patterns.
Tasks
- Role Overview
- Class 1 (C E): Completing 2–3 ‘wave’ runs per shift
- Class 2 (LGV C): Delivering parcels to Delivery Units
General Responsibilities:
- Ensuring safe and efficient operation of vehicles
- Completing all relevant paperwork accurately and on time
- Adhering to all driving and safety regulations
Available Roles & Pay Rates (PAYE)
- Class 1 (C E):
- Days: £16.60 per hour
- Nights: £18.00 per hour
- Days: £14.55 per hour
- Nights: £16.50 per hour
Shift Patterns
- Day and night shifts available
- Typically 5 shifts per week
- Rotas may include weekends
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months’ HGV driving experience (relevant to licence class)
- Valid HGV licence: Class 1 (Category C E) or Class 2 (Category C)
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
- Willingness to complete an onsite assessment
