The Role
The Residential Support Worker will play an important part in creating a caring, safe and homely environment where young people can grow, develop and thrive.
Daily responsibilities will include
- Supporting young people with daily routines, life skills and personal care where required.
- Organising fun recreational and leisure activities both inside and outside the home.
- Supporting attendance at education settings and providing transport when needed.
- Acting as a keyworker for individual young people, helping to support care plans and reviews.
- Building positive and trusting relationships with young people, families and professionals.
- Maintaining accurate records and handover notes.
- Administering medication when trained and authorised.
- Supporting a positive home environment through cooking, household tasks and health & safety checks.
- Working in line with safeguarding procedures, policies and legislation at all times.

- Experience managing challenging behaviour.
- Good written and IT skills.
- Flexibility around shift patterns.
