4-bed Ofsted-rated Good children’s home providing therapeutic, child-centred care.
As a
Senior Residential Support Worker , you will
- Build positive relationships with children and young people.
- Provide daily care, routines, activities and emotional support.
- Lead shifts and support other
Residential Support Workers .
- Support young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
- Contribute to care plans, risk assessments and behaviour plans.
- Maintain accurate records and incident reports.
- Promote safeguarding and child protection.
- Work with managers, social workers and other professionals.
- Help maintain a safe, consistent and nurturing home.
About You
12+ months’ experience working with children and young people.
Level 3 Residential Childcare / Caring for Children & Young People qualification.
- Experience with therapeutic and child-centred approaches.
- Confident supporting emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Able to lead and support a residential care team.
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
- Flexible for long days, weekends and sleep-ins .
Full UK driving licence.
- Existing
