- We are recruiting an experienced
Team Leader to support children and young people within a residential children’s home.
You will lead shifts, support the residential care team and provide safe, nurturing and child-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support Residential Support Workers.
- Provide high-quality children’s residential care.
- Build positive relationships with young people.
- Support care plans, activities and independence.
- Promote safeguarding and positive behaviour.
- Maintain accurate records and reports.
- Work with families and other professionals.
- Support the day-to-day running of the home.
About You
- 12+ months’ experience with children and young people.
- Experience in children’s residential care .
- Confident managing challenging behaviour.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Level 3 Residential Childcare / Children & Young People desirable.
Full UK driving licence.
